How we handle the details you share when you reach out about rug and carpet cleaning in Manhattan.
What we collect from you
When you send a request through our website, we receive the name, phone number and email you type in, the type of cleaning you are asking about, the address or neighborhood where the work would happen, and any notes you add about your rugs, carpet or upholstery. We also record whether you ticked the text message consent box. If you arrived from an online ad, the form may also pass along advertising tags in the page address, such as UTM values or click identifiers like GCLID, GBRAID, WBRAID and FBCLID.
Why we use it
We use what you send to answer your request, work out what the job involves, arrange pickup or an on-site visit, keep the form free of spam, understand which marketing brings in real inquiries, and keep a record of our conversations. We do not sell your personal details as part of running this website.
Cookies, analytics and maps
Our site relies on Google Analytics, a measurement tool from Google LLC. It notes which pages are opened, how visitors move around, a rough location based on IP address, and the kind of browser and device in use, and it places cookies so separate visits can be told apart. We use these figures to see how the site performs and to make it easier to use. None of it is sold. After you submit a form, Google Analytics may pick up the email, phone number and street address you entered and pass them to Google in hashed form, meaning scrambled into a code that hides the original text, so Google can connect visits to requests. We also run Cloudflare Web Analytics, from Cloudflare, Inc., which counts page views and load times without cookies and without tracking you on other sites. A few pages display a Google Maps map. That map is served by Google, which may set its own cookies and see your IP address.
Interaction and ad tracking
We keep simple, anonymous tallies of actions such as tapping our phone number, pressing a button, or starting and finishing a form, along with the page where the action took place. These tallies are stored by our site platform, LunOS, without cookies and without your name, number or email, and we look at them only to learn which pages help people get in touch. If an online ad brought you here, the web address may carry an ad click ID such as gclid, wbraid or gbraid. When you submit the form, that ID travels with it so we can see which ads produce requests. It does not reveal who you are.
Protection and how long we keep data
Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection. To keep out automated spam, our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check from Cloudflare, Inc. that looks at technical details of your browser and device. It does not rely on advertising cookies.
Your options
You are free to phone us instead of filling in the form. Calls to our number, and any voicemail you leave, may be recorded and transcribed so we can follow up properly. To ask about information you have already given us, call (646) 921-9084.
